SELECT A WIKI APPLICATION OR EXTENSION
| Pick from the Directory of Wiki Apps and Extensions a suitable one that is compatible with your SMW+ installation. | |
| Verify that the Wiki App or Extension that you want is included in a repository that is compatible with the version of SMW+ installation: |
INSTALL IT TO SMW+
There are three possibilities to install the selected Wiki App or Extension to your SMW+ installation:
| | Wiki Administration Tool (web interface): The Wiki Administration Tool Web Interface [1] which is integrated into SMW+ can be accessed via the Administration menu. Access the SMW+ repository and customize your wiki conveniently with the web interface. |
| | Console:
The Wiki Administration Tool is also accessible via console (Linux) and command line interface (Windows). There you can install extensions by typing the command of your desired extension. Overview of the commands |
| | Sourcecode: Alternatively deploy the extensions from source code. Note, that in this case a manual installation is necessary. |
PROPOSE A WIKI APP OR EXTENSION?
Do you miss an extension in Directory of Wiki Apps and Extensions? Do you want to propose that somebody else should provide the community with a Wiki App?
| There are many ideas for extensions to package and Wiki Apps to write for the Wiki App Repository. We are collecting them in our bug tracker. Have a look at them! We'd be happy to see you work on any of these ideas or your own idea. Let us know when you start and what you're working on so we can give you a few useful tips.

It automatically copes with extension dependencies and version conflicts and works as a simple command line application. It is shipped with SMW+ and the Halo extension.
