Microsoft Office Connector

SMW+ enables you to tag and process data. Having gathered data in the wiki you might want to re-use it in other applications. With our Microsoft Office Connectors you can easily exchange data from SMW+ with your everyday office application: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel or Microsoft Project.

Microsoft Office Connector

With Microsoft Office Connector, users of applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel can easily discover and explore relevant information from a semantic wiki without leaving their office applications. Microsoft Office Connector can retrieve information in real time about wiki articles and their data and even access dynamic query results that are embedded in the wiki. Moreover, users can easily add content into the wiki in either manual or automatic ways from within their Microsoft Office applications. Accessing a semantic wiki's data directly from within the office suite reduces training requirements and allows wiki information to be tightly integrated with the user's workflows.
