SPARQL-support:
TripleStore Professional makes use of SPARQL, which is standardized for retrieving RDF data and allows searching for complex graph patterns. It also lets you do enhanced data filtering.

Advanced inferencing
Advanced Reasoning:
The Rule Knowledge extension GUI, which is shipped with TripleStore Professional, lets you easily define calculation-, property chaining- and definition-rules. Moreover, you can apply pre-defined logical relations such as inverse, symmetric or transitive. Once defined, these rules and dependencies are used to enrich your SMW+ with extra information, to deduce additional facts and to avoid redundant annotation work.

Advanced data integration
Data Integration:
Attach arbitrary extern databases (e.g. MySQL) and query their information directly from within SMW+. First, you map the data schema of the database with the one in your wiki. An elaborate and easy-to-use graphical ontology editor is ready to help you with this. Second, you import the mapping information into SMW+. Third, you can not only query the database and integrate its knowledge into your articles, you can even inference additional facts derived from all seperated sources connected to your wiki.
